The City of Amsterdam

Here's a relatively concise update of my trip to Amsterdam. We went to Amsterdam for the weekend (Thurs-Sun) on March 16 - 19. We flew via Air France from London City Airport. The flight was a short one. Before we could heat up our plane seats, we were already informed that we're about to land! The flight was just 40 minutes in total.

Upon reaching Amsterdam Schipol Airport, we took the cab to our hotel. We stored our luggages and went to the city for lunch and to explore around.

Seems like the Dutch are healthy and environmental friendly people as it's evidenced by the amount of bicycles in the city.

It still makes me wonder why certain houses are crooked.

Off to save the world with the clogmobile! Sara said that I looked like I was driving a clog automobile :)

We visited the world famous Heineken Brewery as well. The entrance fee was €17. The following photos are taken with phone.

It was raining when we got there

 Yay!

We were given a glass of beer as well. Prost!

Then there's us...

We walked more than 1.6 miles for this...

Next up, I'll update on Zaanse Schans. The outer area from the central city.
