Weekend in Dubrovnik

I went to Dubrovnik during one my weekends for a short and relaxing escapade. Dubrovnik is also known as the Pearl of the Adriatic and it's one of the UNESCO's World Heritage site. Which in fact, reminds me a lot of Penang as it's known as the Pearl of the Orient, and in Penang, we have a few UNESCO World Heritage site as well. :) I flew with British Airways and the flight was 2h 40m. Earlier on, I arranged a pick up service with the hotel. Upon reaching, I was greeted by the chauffer and reached the hotel in 20-25 minutes. So there I am at the reception checking in and to my delight, they upgraded my room to an executive king room. Oh, happy days!

Below are some photos of my room:

After resting in the room for a bit, I decided to visit the Old Town.

Love the waters!

This is definitely one of the best seafood risotto's I've ever tasted! If you like seafood, Dubrovnik definitely has one of the freshest!

Old Port

Full from lunch, I sat at the Old Port for a while, soaking under the sun and found amusement by looking at the blue waters.

Pigeon: Bitch please... today I'm fabulous!
