Zaanse Schans, Amsterdam

On our second day at Amsterdam, we went to Zaanse Schans for the windmills, cheese, museum, arts and craft and for the other touristy things.

From the central station at Amsterdam, we took the train and got off at Koog Zaandijk. From Koog Zaandijk station, it was about a 10 minute walk to Zaanse Schans.

Whilst on the way to the village:

Isn't the scenery beautiful?

While En was in the toilet, I spotted a pair of unique ducks that was the least shy in the eyes of the camera. I went very near to it, and it started posing...

See what I mean?

At the entrance before the cheese shop... You don't say???

Be warned...

Smile!!! :) :) :)

Pancake!

It has been awhile since I had a pancake. So on a sunny Thursday, I decided to have a pancake to kick start the day. Managed to whip up a pancake with fresh strawberries and sprinkles of icing sugar.

Yummy! :) :) :)
